Browser Configuration Check

In order to enjoy this e-Learning system, your browser needs to:

be Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
allow Javascript
allow Cookies
allow Popup windows
install with Macromedia Flash Player 7.0 or later
install with Java Plug-in Sun JRE 1.5.0_02 or later

Browser

Please use Internet Explorer, to visit the e-Learning system.
If you are using an old version of Internet Explorer, please go to Windows Update to update.

Javascript

If it is being disabled in the browser, please follow the steps below to enable it:

In the browser, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Internet > Custom Level
Go to the section "Scripting" as shown below:

Cookies

If it is being disabled in the browser, please follow the steps below to enable it:

In the browser, go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Advanced
Make sure "Override automatic cookie handling" is unchecked as shown below:

Popup Windows

If your browser is preventing any popup windows, please disable it. Or if you have installed any tool to block popup windows, please disable it in the tool as well. E.g., if you are using Google Toolbar, click the button below.

If you see the following, that means it will allow popup windows.

Flash Player

If you are using an old version of flash player or do not have one, please go to the Macromedia Download Site to download and install.

Check again

Install Java Plug-in

a. First,check to see if you have installed Java Plug-in:

① In the browser, go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
② Check to see if the section "Java (Sun)" is found as shown below

③ If the section is not found, follow step b. below to install Java Plug-in.
④ If the checkbox under "Java (Sun)" is not checked as shown above, please check it and restart your browser. Enter the e-Learning system again to see if you need to update the Java Plug-in.

b. Follow the steps below to install:
(please note that you need to have administrative permissions of the operating system in order to perform the installation)

① Download the Java Plug-in (16.4MB)

② Install the Java Plug-in.

③ Restart your browser and enter the e-Learning system again.

Update Java Plug-in

If you are using an old version of Java Plug-in, follow the steps below to update:
(please note that you need to have administrative permissions of the operating system in order to perform the installation)

a. Download the new Java Plug-in (16.4MB)
b. In Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, remove the program "Java 2 Runtime Environment" or "J2SE Runtime Environment"
c. Install the new Java Plug-in.
d. Restart your browser and enter the e-Learning system again.
